Browsing through the calendar I find that the suitable period is 27th Aug(Sat) to 4th Sep(Sun)- School holiday coincides with Merdeka and Hari Raya, super peak season.
Lanzhou climate is moderate during this period. As there's nothing spetacular about Lanzhou, I suggest we visit Xian as well.
I guess the ladies are bored by history and thrilled by shopping, so we can consider the other alternative- Guangzhou. This destination will satisfy both shopping and gastronomic urge.
Lanzhou pastor is coming for pastor retreat, I suggest bro Frank to liase with him.
Whichever destination we select we have to decide early to book tickets and make necessary tour arrangement.
Just to inform that we will not be able to join during this period as Rianna will be having her UPSR exams beginning 12 Sept. Per the norm when it comes to exams, the parents are the ones who get stressed rather than the child!
ReplyDeleteDates of visit have been changed due to Ps. Lucy bible studies in Shenzen from July till October. Travel period for us to be around mid Novemeber 2011. Hope this will encourage more to join. From Lanzhou bro. liu has proposed to visit Xian for a few days.Please give your names early for air ticket bookings.
