Did I say "Not to be judgemental" during our cell meeting 2 weeks ago? I have pondered over this for few nights This cliché crept into my mind when I was ill prepared. Why this cliché troubled me so much ? Because I confess that I am opinionated- another word for judgemental.
What's the difference between judgemental, discerning, making sound judgement ? What does Bible say ?
Is it good to be "non judgemental"? Is it wrong to tell someone right from wrong? Or shall we be so liberal that we don't comment on drug abuse, free sex, child abuse, corruption, and ect ? Or shall we just keep quiet and "pray over it" let god judge ?
To be non judgemental is to be indifferent or simply irresponsible.
Shall we preach the gospel of righteousness that makes us judgemental ? Or preach the gospel of love to avoid being judgemental? Or shall we preach the gospel of peace so devoid of judgemental spirit that even the devils are pleased and appeased?
