Even as I am typing this post, my dad's heart has been stablized (bp 80 - 90) after a series of strong medication but I believe it is the prayers from you, brothers and sisters in Christ and most importantly God's mercy and grace that has uphold him throughout a life and death situation yet again. Please do continue to pray for full recovery. ;)
His BP was about 50-60 when he was rushed to SJMC and efforts to bring his heart rate to normal was not good. The only option at that point of time was injecting a strong medication and hope for the best which resulted to injecting not one dose but two dosage. The most heart breaking words from the doc was the chances of my dad not able to make it through the night IF the medication does not improve the heart rate to be stable.
Anyway, to cut the story short, before we left SJMC, he was awake, BP abt 70, had milo and bread before taking medication to sleep. Praise God.
All glory to God and thank you so much for your speedy prayers. As Bro Frank and Mae mentioned via sms - In all things, God is in control and surrendering to Him, trust in Him and all our household will be saved.
This is a solid testimony that God is awesomely great and His ways are beyond our comprehension. Special thanks to Doc Liu who came all the way from damansara heights. His presence helped calmed my mum down.
Message from Bro AK - " God wants us to know that He is real and serious" - Yes, truly he is real and maybe is just God saying "I am always here, spend more time with Me". I have to admit I have been putting to much focus on work, things of the world that I have neglected spending quiet time with Him.
Sometimes I wonder how much God can take our silly weaknesses and nonsense but yet He still answers our prayers. Something to ponder on I believe...
PTL, we are all delighted to learn that your dad is recovering well. God is awesome and He truly answers to all our prayers. All glory to our Lord. Bro Alvin, may your dad continue to receive divine healing and recover speedily from strength to strength until full recovery. GB
ReplyDelete"Blessed are the poor in spirit" Mat5:3 For you humble yourself to seek God, He answered you. Your faith has healed your dad.
ReplyDeleteThks Bro Soon And I will say "Amen" to that with utmost faith and humility. ;)
ReplyDelete"For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast." (Ephesians 2:8-9)
Bro Wilson, I am still being addressed a "Bro Soon", so 'ang chuar ho' Bro WC ? :p
ReplyDeleteCH, i think fellow members would agree if you create a new posting with the title " I m Chong Hoong, you can call me CH", :P
ReplyDeleteBro WC, if our Ah Tau agree with you, I shall create a posting as suggested and hopefully, he will not ask me to write to NLRC and publish the notification in the church's weekly bulletin or notify members through Faith 4 Life Messaging, otherwise, I shall "siam". God bless
