During our fellowship at the Life Cafe yesterday, it has been concluded that the launching of PCG's sub cell to be on 7th November 2008. It will be a significant date as it means that Bro AK and Sis Amelia will be operating like the Convenience Store, 7-ELEVEN. Hence, they will be serving God 24 Hours a Day, 7 days a week. Hallelujah, Praise the Lord.
With their faithfulness and humble hearts, may the Lord continue to bless Bro AK, Sis Amelia and family abundantly and continue to strengthen their bond, fill their house with love, peace and joy. Bless them with divine health and long lives. Amen. GB.

Home Visit 21st Sep
After Pr Jeffery prophesied on bro A.K. last Sunday he sprang into action immediately-not like Jonah who siamed. Bro Frank, Jo, A.K., Michelle and I went to share with Michelle's cousin, Mrs Lee in Country Heights. She was really touched by bro Frank and Jo who were full of annointing. And bro A.K. was equally GENG. He shared and counselled as cool as...cucumber? No, he was as cool as Jesus in the midst of storm.

Blessed Birthday Alison

The Cell group celebrated Alison's birthday last friday after the CG meeting and all of us had a great time of sharing and fellowship. The yummy, spongy and delicious cake was too difficult to resist and most of us could not "siam". Guess all of us have to watch our waist lines with all the fei-loh-ships.
Sis Mae had been super-detailed in dressing up the two cutie daughters as they wore the same coloured dresses as the Birthday Cake.
All of us missed some of our members, Sis Jo who was down with flu that night and by now, we know God has healed her completely. Bro AK was away to Miri and Sis Amelia wanted to stay at home.
Bro Mun joined in late, after his official meeting and Bro Chow joined the meeting on time. Hallelujah!

Samuel's Catheter removed

Praise the Lord, Samuel has his catheter removed today. The operation went well and Praise God ,now he is more confident in his moments now. I believe that this has been the main culprit previously to have infected Samuel on a few occasions, and with its removal now, I also believe that Samuel is now fully healed. Hallelujah. All praises to Him. Amen

Truly God is ever faithful
Even as I am typing this post, my dad's heart has been stablized (bp 80 - 90) after a series of strong medication but I believe it is the prayers from you, brothers and sisters in Christ and most importantly God's mercy and grace that has uphold him throughout a life and death situation yet again. Please do continue to pray for full recovery. ;)
His BP was about 50-60 when he was rushed to SJMC and efforts to bring his heart rate to normal was not good. The only option at that point of time was injecting a strong medication and hope for the best which resulted to injecting not one dose but two dosage. The most heart breaking words from the doc was the chances of my dad not able to make it through the night IF the medication does not improve the heart rate to be stable.
Anyway, to cut the story short, before we left SJMC, he was awake, BP abt 70, had milo and bread before taking medication to sleep. Praise God.
All glory to God and thank you so much for your speedy prayers. As Bro Frank and Mae mentioned via sms - In all things, God is in control and surrendering to Him, trust in Him and all our household will be saved.
This is a solid testimony that God is awesomely great and His ways are beyond our comprehension. Special thanks to Doc Liu who came all the way from damansara heights. His presence helped calmed my mum down.
Message from Bro AK - " God wants us to know that He is real and serious" - Yes, truly he is real and maybe is just God saying "I am always here, spend more time with Me". I have to admit I have been putting to much focus on work, things of the world that I have neglected spending quiet time with Him.
Sometimes I wonder how much God can take our silly weaknesses and nonsense but yet He still answers our prayers. Something to ponder on I believe...

Request for the church project at Kalavai
For discussion on Friday 5th of September.
"Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,
Loving greetings in the sweet name of our Lord and Saviour
Jesus Christ. It's my privilege to share my God-given burden with you
through this letter.
Sankarachariyar, a prominent leader of Hindu religion, who
is supposed to be the king maker of our country, lives in Kanchipuram
town, which is located 75km from Chennai. He has another residence in
Kalavai village, which is 120km from Chennai.
In 2002, there was not a single Christian family living
here. Pastor Sam, alumnus of Showers of Blessing Bible College, with
the help of Showers of Blessing Ministries, went to that village and
started a ministry in the year 2002. He took the greatest challenge to
live and serve Christ, in a place full of challenges. We conducted
many Gospel meetings and many missionaries came from foreign countries
and ministered in this village. The Good News of Jesus Christ and the
intense exposure to the Word of God touched their souls, renewed their
mind and resulted in their salvation and healing. The healing of a
lady with an unsound mind and a lame person brought about a revival in
that village. Now we have given baptism to about 350 people in that
village and the church is growing very fast.
We have also started churches in hamlets near Kalavai and
souls are being added in every village.
With your support, the pastor took up a rented house. Above his house,
we erected a thatched roof and the church was functioning from that
place for the past few years. The owner of the house has asked them
to vacate the place. The other non-Christian landlords are not willing
to give their place for building a church. Now the believers have no
place to meet and worship. We prayed and decided to purchase a piece
of land and build a church. The total budget to buy the land of 6000
sq.ft and build a church of 1800 square feet costs RM 150.000/.
The church members and I will be grateful if you could
donate liberally for this project. I am sure our Lord will bless you
more for your gesture..
May God bless you abundantly.
In God's ministry,
E. Samuel Mohanraj

Merdeka !
Hallelujah. Pastor Lawerence Chen made his maiden visit to our cell last friday (29.08.08). Even though the cell was "Unit Leader-less" for a while, we are very blessed to have Bro Frank and Dr Liu. Both of them have been tirelessly, patiently guiding the whole group through and walking the right path. Thank you Bros.
Many issues including the previous Church's assignments were shared with Pastor Lawerence, perhaps it was an eye opener for him and perhaps, he may convey to the Leadership that we are not a "siau group" afterall. He he he. PTL, Bro AK's fireplace has not been commissioned or some of the books will end up as ashes. The feed back for the Church continued at the dinning table and Dr Liu must have spolit Bro AK's appetite with the topic of WCs, Urinals and sepitc tanks. Ha ha ha. It might have been delibrate because Bro AK confessed that he had been on a vegetarian diet the whole day but decided to change his mind after seeing Sis Jo's signature dishes. The curried beef rendang was the main culprit that caused Bro AK's mouth to water. This must be another way to get him to have "mouth washes" lah. Sis Carin brought a mouth watering dessert ( gingko-barley-soya soup) and as usual, I had double helpings with "tong sui"
On the blockage of the sewerage system, perhaps the church should know that the paper hand towels in the toilets are NOT biodegradable and hence, MUST NOT be thrown in the WCs. Maybe a notice should be placed near the Hand towels dipenser.
Surely, we need not wait for the next Merdeka to see some improvements as suggested.
